The ensuing photos are whatsapp screenshots of the conversation between a scammer and his intended victim.
The victim @ibra_himyusuf was trying to sell his phone online when he encountered a supposed buyer who was going to use a fake payment invoice to dupe him.
But once the scammer realised @ibra_himyusuf was Nigerian, he couldn’t go ahead with his plans. He said: “I be omo naija but I can’t bad belle you.”
