Emmanuel Naebei from Kenya has emerged as the winner for this year's Lagos City Marathon powered by Access Bank.
The Kenyan crossed the finish line at Eko Atlantic to complete the 42 kilometer race which started off at the National Stadium in Surulere, in a total time of 2 hours, 11 minutes and 37 seconds.
Emmanuel comes a little short of David Barmaasi Tumo also a Kenyan, who won the Lagos City Marathon in 2 hours, 10 minutes and 20 seconds last year.
Emmanuel will receive a cash prize of $30,000 as the winner. The first and second runners-up will bag $20,000 and $15,000 respectively.
